Cleanup from a train derailment that caused traffic impacts in Richmond and Rosenberg on Wednesday could take days, according to Fort Bend County officials.
According to officials, no injuries were reported in the derailment that happened along Highway 90 near OakBend Hospital.
In a Facebook post, the Richmond Police Department said the train derailed in Rosenberg, causing several cars to leave the tracks. Authorities said the train contained 137 rail cars, including the 23 that derailed.
