‘Choir Boy’
Coming of age is hard, as anyone who has been through adolescence can attest, and that experience informs the Tony-winning ”Choir Boy,” Tarell Alvin McCraney’s portrait of African American boys at the elite Charles R. Drew Prep School in which these students wrestle with bullying, sexuality and identity. McCraney also wrote the play that inspired the celebrated film “Moonlight.” This production is rated PG-15 as it contains strong language, LGBTQ+ related issues, sexual suggestiveness.
