Fort Bend deputy killed while helping others; suspect arrested with victim’s own handcuffs

HOUSTON — A 22-year-old man is facing two felony charges in connection with a crash that killed a Fort Bend County sheriff’s deputy along the Katy Freeway last month.

Deputy Kenneth Lewis had stopped to help two stranded motorists when he was struck and killed, authorities said.
