South Texas State Fair day 2 brings rodeo and bull riding to Doggett Ford Park

Day two of the South Texas State Fair is underway, and organizers are gearing up for a busy night at the rodeo and bull riding events at Doggett Ford Park.

Rodeo royalty Katelyn Collins, Miss UPRA, and Maddie Diaz, Miss Teen APRA, were at the fairgrounds ahead of the evening’s events and said they have been making appearances throughout the rodeo schedule.

Collins said she traveled from Lubbock to take part in the fair and is a junior at Texas Tech. Diaz said she is 17 years old and lives in Richmond, Texas, where she attends George Ranch High School. She said she plans to go to Sam Houston State in the fall…
