The Waller County Sheriff’s Office Livestock Division, in coordination with an Environmental Crimes Investigator, concluded a multi-week investigation into an animal cruelty case with an arrest.
Doug James Smith of Waller County was arrested on Monday for two counts of Cruelty to Livestock Animals. He was transported and booked in to the Waller County Jail in Hempstead.
