HOUSTON — April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is using it to remind drivers that even small distractions behind the wheel can have serious consequences.
According to TxDOT, distracted driving was the second-most common factor in crashes across Texas last year, contributing to more than 86,000 crashes.
