Katy, Texas – The Texas Southern Women’s Golf Team posted a 925 (309 – 301 – 315) team total to finish in 4th place overall at the 30th anniversary of the National Women’s Collegiate Golf Championship hosted by the Women’s in Golf Foundation on Wednesday.
Graduate student, Alexa Gonzalez was the top scorer for the Tigers with her tied 9th place finish on 227 (74 – 74 – 79). Freshman, Carmen Pate finished one stroke back on 228 (74 – 76 – 78) to finished tied in 12th place while fellow freshman Zufan Girard posted a 236 (76 – 82 – 78).
