HOUSTON (CW39) — A man that was called a family friend was arrested after a toddler was unintentionally shot and wounded in an incident in Channelview, authorities said.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said that Santiago Canet has been charged with making a firearm accessible to a minor after a 2-year-old was shot in the head at a Channelview-area home.
