Suspect charged with intoxication manslaughter in crash that killed 3, injured 2, authorities say

A 20-year-old is charged with intoxication manslaughter after a crash that killed three people and seriously injured two others near Rosenberg in March, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

Juan Manuel Narvaez Yepez was arrested on April 10 and charged with intoxication manslaughter as well as two counts of intoxication assault, authorities said.

The crash happened on the morning of March 15 along US-90. Authorities said a family of five was in a Hyundai Santa Fe, and was driving eastbound on US-90, when the driver of a Toyota Tacoma crossed the grass center median and hit the family’s vehicle head-on…
