A 25-year-old Richmond man has been indicted for a fatal shooting that occurred earlier this year in Beaumont.
Corey Comeaux was indicted Wednesday by a Jefferson County grand jury for first-degree murder in the death of Joseph Manuel Jr., 32.
Around 7:45 a.m. on March 24, Beaumont police were sent to a house in the 1900 block of Rafes Way because shots were fired. When officers arrived, they found Manuel with gunshot wounds, according to a probable cause affidavit. Emergency personnel declared Manuel dead at the scene…
