Travelers flying through Orlando International Airport (MCO) will soon see the next phase of one of the airport’s biggest infrastructure projects come to life as the Terminal C expansion enters its final stretch.
According to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, the expansion is expected to open in Spring 2026, completing a key portion of the airport’s long term vision to accommodate Central Florida’s rapid growth and record-breaking passenger numbers.
The Terminal C expansion will add four new Multiple Aircraft Ramp System (MARS) gates Gates 250 through 253. The new gates can accommodate either four wide-body international aircraft or up to eight narrow-body domestic aircraft, giving airlines more flexibility to meet changing travel demand…
