APOPKA, Fla. — Regional Rail’s Florida Central Railroad has joined the ranks of railroads with America 250 locomotives, unveiling GP9RM No. 1776 today (Friday, July 3). The former Canadian National locomotive, which previously wore No. 7033, was painted by the railroads three-person mechanical team led by Sean Clark.
Florida Central operates 68 miles of trackage in and north of Orlando, Fla. It becomes the fourth Regional Rail railroad with an America 250 locomotive, joining the Minnesota Commerical Railway, East Penn Railroad, and Coastal Carolina Railway…
