ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — Video shows a large, “reckless” group on bikes blocking traffic and running red lights Downtown Orlando, according to police.
The Orlando Police Department posted videos on Thursday from a traffic cameras, saying the group was putting all motorists at risk.
Body camera video shows an officer placing people in handcuffs while their bikes were scattered in the middle of an intersection.
“Reckless riding, running red lights, blocking traffic, and blocking an ambulance and other emergency vehicles from responding puts everyone at risk, including the riders themselves,” OPD said. “This type of dangerous behavior will not be tolerated.”
