ORANGE COUNTY, FL — A former Florida juvenile probation officer is accused of using a government court database to monitor an active fentanyl trafficking case and then leaking sealed arrest warrants to people tied to the drug group. Crystal Gaynell Ann Lawson, 32, had her bond set Friday at $1.14 million, or $10,000 for each count.
Investigators say the case could expose Lawson to more than 560 years in prison if she is convicted on all charges. She is charged with 113 felony counts of unauthorized computer access and one count involving unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
The Drug Probe
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation began in 2025 after a DEA task force opened a case into a drug trafficking organization led by Omyry Hickson. The group was allegedly moving fentanyl and laundering money in Orange County.
A judge signed secret arrest warrants for five suspects on April 3, 2026, and investigators delayed entering them into public systems so they could coordinate arrests and collect evidence at the same time. That plan fell apart after one of the sealed documents was sent to the group…
