ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office announced the death of one of its own – Sergeant Julie Rezex – remembering her efforts in the various roles she served, her “unwavering dedication” and her ability to coach, lead and inspire.
The sheriff’s office, which reported Sgt. Rezex’s death on Aug. 21, said she died unexpectedly earlier in the week.
In a released statement, the sheriff’s office said Rezex will be “forever remembered, deeply missed, and honored for the tremendous contributions she made throughout her career.”
“Our thoughts remain with her family, loved ones, and everyone who had the privilege of serving alongside her,” the sheriff’s office said. …
