Illinois Man Faces Federal Charges In Florida Over Cruise Ship Bomb Threat

A 20-year-old Chicago man faces up to five years in federal prison after allegedly calling in a bomb threat to a cruise ship, federal prosecutors in Florida announced.

A grand jury indicted Daquan Lamont Smith on a charge of interstate transmission of a threat, according to U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe.
