The Orange County Sheriff’s Office stated on September 15, 2025, that an “unknown man entered the business after hours, took some cash and left.” The robbery was just after midnight on Monday, September 15.
WFTV 9 later reported that same day, sharing additional details from a sheriff’s office report that the man swam up to Paddlefish, a restaurant housed in a building shaped like a steamboat at Disney Springs. He found a place to store his wetsuit and scuba gear before entering the manager’s office, where two employees were counting cash from the day to place in a safe.
