A man walked into a supermarket in Florida carrying a rifle and pointed it at several people in an attempt to steal a watch, Orlando police say.
Orlando Police Department officers responded to a Sedano’s supermarket on 5660 Curry Ford Road on Sept. 10 after receiving multiple 911 calls about a Hispanic man walking around the store with a rifle.
Surveillance footage released by police shows the suspect, identified as Juby Manuel Vera, approaching a jewelry counter at the supermarket with the rifle in his hands. Police say he then pointed the rifle at a customer before pointing it at a store clerk…
