On his team managing just 13 points:
Yeah, not good. First of all, I just want to give Central Florida credit. I thought they played well. The guys played hard. I thought they did a good job of – particularly in the second half – taking care of the ball and putting us in some hard situations.
Offensively, it was just a ton of errors. I mean, if you look at the statistics, we had five more minutes time of possession. We ran 14 more plays. We had almost 100 more yards. We were 7-16 on third down; they were 3-10. We were 1-1 on fourth down; they were 0-1. When you look at the statists you would say, you know, we should have won the football game. But we just made so many mistakes. The biggest issue is we had 11 penalties. It’s the second game this year we’ve had 11 penalties. That’s obviously a critical, critical thing in the game. You know, we had them stopped on a third down, and we let them – kept them – on the field … the pass interference … I mean, it was just critical penalties in critical situations. Just playing undisciplined football, which again, is not what this team is about. And we’re going to get that stuff fixed…
