POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Polk County deputies are asking the public to help identify a man suspected of stealing a wallet and attempting to make a massive purchase with a stolen card in Davenport.
The theft occurred on Sept. 28, 2026, at a business along Posner Boulevard. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the victim left his wallet unattended, and someone walked off with it. Inside were six debit and credit cards alongside $470 in cash.
