A mother has filed a lawsuit against Universal Orlando Resort after her young son allegedly lost consciousness on the Stardust Racers roller coaster at Epic Universe.

Jennifer Lundy initially filed a lawsuit against the Orlando, Fla. park on Aug. 17, but her lawsuit later moved to federal court on Sept. 18. The civil complaint stems from an incident that allegedly occurred during a visit to the park with her 9-year-old son, identified as L.L., on Oct. 13, 2025.

During the visit, Lundy claims her son rode the coaster, which reaches speeds of up to 62 mph and heights up to 133 feet, according to the park’s website. At the time, L.L. allegedly met the required height of 48 inches tall…
