Scattered tropical downpours for Saturday

ORLANDO, Fla. – Rain chances remain high this weekend as trailing moisture behind Isaias lingers over Central Florida.

Extremely humid conditions will make Saturday feel like a mid-summer day as high temperatures this afternoon reach the low 90s with feels like temperatures around and even over 100ºF. All of this low level moisture that is trailing what was Isaias is the fuel to spark downpours across Central Florida this afternoon. Coverage will not be as widespread or persistent as the last few days, but they will pack more of a punch with heavier rainfall and lightning. Storm motion will be from the southwest to the northeast. We will start seeing spotty storms along the 75 corridor and southern Osceola county right around noon. Storms will continue to fan out and push towards the north, filling in the Orlando metro and points north around 2-3pm.
