Orlando man found guilty in fentanyl-laced pill scheme leading to deadly overdose

ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS12) – An Orlando man was found guilty by a federal jury for conspiring to distribute fentanyl which resulted in a person’s death. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) said from April 2020 and April 2022, 42-year-old Joel Fonseca Flores and his co-conspirator, Misty Parady, sold fake “M30” pills laced with fentanyl to the victim.
