A fatal collision last night claimed the life of a woman and left two others with serious injuries in Orange County, leading to the closure of Hiawassee Road for several hours. According to a report by ClickOrlando, the accident occurred around 11:21 p.m. near Nestor Street in Pine Hills.
The Florida Highway Patrol disclosed that a 2022 Toyota RAV-4 attempted to turn left onto Nestor Street and went into the path of an oncoming 2024 Buick Enclave, resulting in a head-on collision. As a result of the impact, the Buick was forcefully pushed off the road, ultimately striking a tree. The driver of the Buick, identified as a 50-year-old Orlando woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
