Woman nabbed after two-year hunt for Kissimmee car burglary and identity theft

KISSIMEE, Fla. (CBS12) — After two years of investigations, authorities apprehended a suspect linked to a brazen car burglary and identity theft in Kissimmee.

On November 2, 2022, deputies from the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office (IRCSO) stated that they responded to a reported car burglary at 80 Lakeview Drive.

According to officials, the victim, who was conducting a fire inspection at a nearby construction site, discovered her purse was missing and a passenger window had been smashed upon returning to her vehicle.
