HAINES CITY, Fla. – Last week, Publix announced that it was rolling out its “softest” sub roll yet — just in time for its next Central Florida location to open.
In a release, company officials said that the soft white-bread sub roll is the latest addition to the chain’s lineup, which includes the following:
- white sub roll
- Italian 5-grain sub roll
- whole wheat sub roll
- white wrap
- spinach wrap
- whole wheat wrap
- tomato wrap
- gluten-free white wrap
- Toufayan keto wrap
Additionally, the release provides a few fun facts about its signature “Pub subs,” such as that the best-selling sub is the Chicken Tender sub, and the most popular toppings are lettuce, tomato, and onions.
“The first custom sub shop and sandwich menu board debuted at a Publix in Marietta, Georgia, in 1992…” the release reads. “Publix’s limited-edition Turkey Cranberry sub debuted in 2010 to capture the nostalgia of the holiday season. It’s been a customer favorite ever since.”…
