Video Captures Moment Tornado Hit TV Station During Live Broadcast

A terrifying video shows the moment a tornado plowed over a local TV news station in the north Orlando, FL. area, and it all happened just as a local meteorologist was in the middle of delivering his segment.

Fox 35 meteorologist Brooks Garner was live on the air Monday morning updating viewers about an EF-2 tornado set to slam Seminole County. He was in the middle of his segment when the weather suddenly intensified as debris hit the building. He remained live on the air while imploring his co-workers at the station and everyone else watching him to find a safe area to shelter.

The TV station’s feed showed exactly when the EF-2 tornado cut across Interstate 4 just north of Orlando as it moved across Lake Mary and into Sanford just before 10 a.m. ET.
