Yesterday morning, a tragic crash in Lake County claimed the lives of three women and left another in critical condition. The solo-vehicle accident involved a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and occurred on State Road 19, south of Saint Florian Lane, around 3:16 a.m., as reported by ClickOrlando. The driver, a 30-year-old woman from Mount Dora, failed to navigate a left-hand curve, leading the vehicle off the road and into a pole, resulting in the vehicle overturning multiple times. The Florida Highway Patrol stated that no vehicle occupants wore seat belts during the crash.
The 30-year-old driver and a 32-year-old woman, both pronounced dead at the scene, were among the ejected. After being transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, the 28-year-old woman was also pronounced dead, while the fourth occupant, a 26-year-old woman from Eustis, is reportedly in critical condition, according to details encapsulated in a WFTV report.
