TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) — Four high school students were on a college tour at Florida State University Thursday when an active shooter situation unfolded, officials confirmed.
Lake Wales High School officials said all four students, and the staff member accompanying them, were safe from the shooting. Their safety was verified with their parents, the high school’s principal said in a statement Thursday.
