POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Davenport man with a history of financial fraud charges found himself facing additional legal trouble last night after allegedly threatening a Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy during his transport to jail.
Devon Alexander Coombs, 31, of Davenport, was apprehended on Friday, June 13th, around 10:00 PM, at a residence in the West Haven neighborhood.
Coombs had an active warrant for Violation of Probation stemming from a charge of Making a False Statement to a Financial Institution to Obtain Credit, along with Grand Theft.
