5 arrested after Marcus Jordan’s warehouse ransacked during hurricane, Florida deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Five people face charges in the theft and handling of rare sneakers that were allegedly stolen during Hurricane Milton from an Orange County warehouse rented by Marcus Jordan, the son of Michael Jordan, according to the sheriff’s office.

The burglary occurred early Oct. 10, 2024, several hours after Hurricane Milton made landfall in Florida, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said on social media.

Three males wearing masks and gloves could be seen on surveillance video rummaging through boxes and shelves in the warehouse, ultimately stealing what detectives described as 300 to 400 pairs of sneakers worth at least $20,000, according to affidavits for the suspects’ arrest warrants…
