POLK COUNTY, Fla. – It seems some habits are hard to break, especially for 49-year-old Teddy Wayne Sparks Jr. of Lake Wales. On Tuesday, June 24th, Sparks was once again taken into custody by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
This latest apprehension stems from a warrant for felony battery, an outcome of a joint investigation by the Haines City Police Department and the State Attorney’s Office.
Authorities determined that Sparks was responsible for the assault of a man back in May. The charge was elevated to a felony due to Sparks’ significant rap sheet, which includes three prior battery convictions dating back to 2002, 2017, and most recently, 2024, according to investigators…
