Central Florida faces afternoon storms and triple-digit heat index

ORLANDO, Fla. – Get ready to keep the umbrella handy this Sunday.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop in the afternoon. The first half of the day should be mainly clear, but as rain chances rise to about 50-60% through the afternoon and evening, some neighborhoods may see downpours and a few claps of thunder.
