A Clermont man who was arrested for allegedly punching his brother-in-law had to be hospitalized after falling through a glass door.
A deputy enroute to a disturbance, later found to involve 31-year-old Navindra Rikhi, was told by dispatchers that they heard shuffling and cursing in the background of the call at 1:25 a.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. There was also a man covered in blood after cutting himself.
Upon arrival, the deputy met Rikhi’s brother-in-law who stated Rikhi punched him in the face. Rikhi then came out of the house covered in blood. The deputy saw a small laceration on his left eyebrow and a large laceration on his right shoulder, the report said.
The laceration was down to the muscle tissue and was hanging open. He also had several superficial cuts on both arms and a large bump on the back of his head. Lake County EMS was contacted and responded to render aid, the report said…
