NEWS: Orlando Airport Issues Warning, Over 230 Flights DELAYED

Orlando Summer storms are no joke!

When it comes to surviving those rainy days in Florida, the best way to make it through is to be prepared. If you’re in Orlando today, July 14th, you need to be prepared for the latest weather alerts and how they might impact your travel.

If you’re trying to catch a flight out of Orlando International Airport today, you need to be aware of the weather! On July 14th, MCO issued a weather warning on X so travelers will be prepared for delays.

They wrote, “Due to weather conditions across South Florida, airline operations may be affected – flight/baggage delivery delays may occur. Please check with your airline directly for any updates regarding their operations.” So not only could the weather impact your flights, it could even impact your luggage!

Already, MCO has experienced 237 delays as well as 33 cancellations. As the weather conditions worsen across South Florida, the best way to stay prepared is to opt into text messages and latest updates from your airline so you don’t end up stuck somewhere unnecessarily.

For many airlines, you can also keep track of your checked bags online and on their apps in addition to receiving text message updates. While Orlando might be experiencing the bad weather, it will be up to your specific airline to notify you of changes. Orlando summer storms tend to happen daily, so hopefully this one will pass quickly.

As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Orlando weather news and updates.
