One Dead in Early Morning Crash
POLK COUNTY, Fla. – One person is dead following a two-vehicle collision involving a small car and a dump truck that occurred Friday morning on County Road 557 and Polk City Road, between Lake Alfred and I-4. The crash also resulted in a fire, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).
PCSO deputies were dispatched to the scene at approximately 5:45 a.m. after reports of the incident.
