Woman Killed, Driver Charged After Running Stop Sign and Lying to Deputies
DAVENPORT, Fla. – A tragic early Tuesday morning crash in Davenport has resulted in one fatality and the arrest of the driver responsible, who deputies say was in the country illegally and driving without a valid license.
The collision, which occurred at the intersection of Snell Creek Road and Power Line Road, is currently under investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) Traffic Homicide Unit.
