1-week-old boy found abandoned in car seat in Florida home’s driveway

ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — A 1-week-old boy was found abandoned in a car seat in front of an Orlando home on Monday morning, according to the Orlando Police Department.

Police said the newborn was found in the 5500 block of Lido Street around 7:20 a.m.

He is in good health and was taken to a hospital to receive treatment.

Police said they are asking the community for any information that could help officers identify the child and locate his parents. They are encouraging those in the Lido Street area to review home security or surveillance footage.
