Toho Water Authority (Toho) is encouraging residential and commercial customers to take part in its Toilet Rebate Program, a water-saving initiative aimed at lowering water bills and promoting sustainability through the replacement of older, inefficient toilets.
Homes built before 1996 may qualify for a $100 rebate per toilet, credited directly to the customer’s water bill, when replacing outdated toilets with high-efficiency models that use 1.28 gallons per flush or less. Residential customers can receive rebates for up to two toilets per property, while commercial properties may apply for rebates on as many as 100 toilets.
