Orlando Health South Lake Hospital Named A High Performing Hospital By U.S. News And World Report

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital has been named a high performing hospital by U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in hospital rankings and consumer advice, for six categories for common adult procedures and conditions.

The hospital ranked as high performing for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes, heart arrhythmia, heart failure, kidney failure and pneumonia. High Performing ratings for medical specialties were awarded to hospitals providing care that is significantly better than the national average. The ratings are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where care is provided for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.
