A Davenport resident with prior convictions was apprehended after a traffic stop, revealing meth and an illegal weapon.
POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A traffic stop on Tuesday afternoon led to the arrest of a Davenport man, Justin Michael Ball, 26, adding to his extensive history with law enforcement. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Ball was pulled over for a minor traffic violation, but his behavior during the stop quickly escalated the situation.
At approximately 4:30 p.m. on July 29, a deputy stopped Ball’s vehicle on Ronald Reagan Parkway at Lake Wilson Road. Authorities reported that Ball appeared “fidgety” and repeatedly tried to reach into a ‘cross-body bag’ despite being told by the deputy to stop.
