Orlando construction company helps workers in the summer heat

ORLANDO, Fla. — Leaders with DPR Construction say they are taking proactive steps to keep their employees from getting sick out in the sun.

Carey Williams says the company has a heat illness prevention program. This includes scheduling earlier work hours, setting up fans on construction sites, and keeping a freezer full of ice pops packed with electrolytes to prevent dehydration.
