A traffic stop in Dundee on July 24 spiraled into a much larger case after a woman gave a false name to a Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy. The incident resulted in her being charged with multiple felonies, including drug possession and bringing contraband into a detention facility.

The stop occurred on US 27 at Dundee Road when a deputy pulled over a white Dodge truck. The driver, later identified as 41-year-old Jessica McIntosh of Dundee, initially identified herself as “Megan,” according to the PCSO.
