Downtown Clermont To Become A 1960s Film Set For “The Nearly Forgotten Incident” (Feb 16-20)

That’s the premise behind The Nearly Forgotten Incident, a suspenseful narrative short set in the 1960s, where a small town plagued by mysterious disappearances and strange events becomes the center of a chilling conspiracy. A group of kids, a determined young woman, and a whistle-blower find themselves entangled with a seemingly innocent candy company, Yummy—a front hiding weaponized sweets and dangerous secrets.

Part of the film will be shot in downtown Clermont from February 16–20, 2026, with overnight filming from 10 pm to 6 am Production will take place on and around Montrose Street between 7th and 8th streets, on 8th Street up to West Osceola, and West Minneola Avenue…
