Deputy Spots Vehicle Weaving Through Traffic at Triple-Digit Speeds
POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 19-year-old Haines City man was arrested early Sunday morning after a deputy clocked his vehicle traveling at dangerously high speeds, reaching up to 120 mph on State Road 60.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was on patrol around 3 a.m. when he spotted a gray Chevy Impala speeding east near Flamingo Drive. The Impala was initially traveling at 78 mph in a 45 mph zone.
