Davenport murder suspect located after two days on the run

POLK COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced the arrest of a suspect in a Davenport shooting death that happened earlier this week.

Angel Gonzalez-Morales, 29, was at large for two days before being apprehended.

On the night of August 12, at the Home Suites on US-27 in Davenport, police responded to reports of gunshots and arrived to find the victim, Elijah Johnson, with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
