Osceola deputy wrangles gator near school, relocates it, video shows

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A school resource officer in Osceola County wrangled and relocated an alligator that was causing concern for student safety on Wednesday, according to the sheriff’s office.

SRO Sgt. Drew responded during dismissal at Bridgeprep Academy when the small gator was seen in a ditch nearby, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said on social media.

Drew used skill and “a bit of Florida wildlife know-how” to safely catch the critter and relocate him to a new home in Lake Toho, the post states…
