In response to the recent decision to paint over Orlando’s iconic rainbow crosswalks, Trina Gregory, owner of the beloved Se7en Bites restaurant, is taking a stand for love, diversity, and artistic expression on September 15, 2025.
On that date, Gregory is opening 49 of her private parking spaces to local artists who want to transform them into vibrant works of art, turning the controversy into a powerful community-driven celebration.
The event, “Parking Spaces for Pride,” will feature:
- Live Art Installations – Local artists will paint the parking spaces, turning them into permanent murals.
- Food Trucks & Local Vendors – A showcase of Orlando’s best bites, drinks, and goods.
- Live Music & Entertainment – Performances from local bands and DJs celebrating unity and inclusivity.
- Community Gathering – A safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals, allies, and neighbors to come together.
“Art has always been a form of resistance and healing,” said Trina Gregory, owner of Se7en Bites. “If our state leaders want to erase symbols of pride and acceptance, then we’ll create even more of them. This isn’t just about paint — it’s about community, visibility, and love.”…
