Titusville Man Sentenced In Orlando To 9 Years In Federal Prison For Cocaine Distribution

Judge sentences Matthew Smolik, 44, for selling over a half-kilogram of cocaine to a confidential informant.

A Titusville man, Matthew William Smolik, 44, was sentenced to nine years in federal prison on Tuesday for distributing more than a half-kilogram of cocaine. Senior U.S. District Judge Roy B. Dalton, Jr. handed down the sentence, which also includes a forfeiture order of $10,500—the proceeds from Smolik’s drug sales. Smolik pleaded guilty to the charges on March 25, 2025.

According to court documents, Smolik sold a confidential source over half a kilogram of cocaine and a small amount of fentanyl between September and November of 2024.

In December of the same year, law enforcement executed search warrants at two of Smolik’s alleged stash locations. During the searches, agents found another half-kilogram of cocaine along with materials used to process the drugs…
