UCF Student Arrested After Allegedly Filming Up Woman’s Skirt in Campus Library

A University of Central Florida student was arrested after police say he was caught secretly recording up a woman’s skirt at the school’s library.

Witness Claims Suspect Said It Was His “Job”

According to the arrest affidavit, the suspect told a witness that taking such videos was his “job” and admitted he sold similar material online.

Incident Reported on Fifth Floor of Library

The case began when the victim noticed a cellphone aimed directly under her skirt while she was studying on the fifth floor of the UCF library. Authorities say the suspect, identified as 23-year-old Yeonsoo William Lee, was confronted after the woman realized what was happening. She demanded to see his phone, which reportedly led Lee to try and delete his most recent recordings.

Police documents state that another student witnessed the confrontation. That witness told investigators Lee explained that there are communities dedicated to such recordings and that he made money selling them. Despite his attempt to erase the footage, investigators determined enough evidence remained to support charges.

Facing Multiple Charges

Lee was arrested on Thursday and charged with video voyeurism and tampering with evidence. He was booked into the Orange County Jail the same day. During his first court appearance on Friday, a judge set Lee’s bond at $6,500. The court also ordered him to stay away from the victim and prohibited him from returning to the university’s library.

University Response

A UCF spokesperson confirmed that Lee is currently enrolled as a student and that the university’s police department is leading the investigation. School officials have not said whether Lee faces additional disciplinary actions from the university…
